Dear Dancers,
Thank you for registering for the upcoming International Convention. We’ve been working hard to make this one of the really good ones. Our facilities are in place, our staff is chosen, and our people are ready to show you what a good time is in store for you in Bismarck in June.
Registration desk will be open at the Best Western Doublewood Inn located at I-94 & Exit 159 on Thursday, June 1st from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM CDT and reopen at Bismarck High School located at 800 N. 8th St. at 7:00 PM CDT.

Note to all callers & cuers on the Program:
A short meeting will be held Thursday, 6:30 PM at the Doublewood Inn.
Because of school policies there is:
“NO SMOKING ALLOWED”
IN THE SCHOOL or ON THE SCHOOL GROUNDS
We have had to make some changes to our convention because of policy changes at the High School. We will be having (2) halls at Bismarck High School. Clogging has been moved to St. Mary’s Grade School Gym located at 807 E. Thayer Ave.. There will be no camping allowed at Bismarck High School. We will have a map showing Bismarck High School and St. Mary’s Grade School in the registration packet.
A variety of callers & cuers are on the program Thursday & Friday evenings. We will have sound enhancement equipment available in the Main hall. An After Party is planned for Saturday evening following the last dance. It will be at St. Mary’s Grade School Gym, 807 E. Thayer Ave.
If you don’t have motel reservations make them ASAP. Be sure to identify yourself as “International Square Dancers”. Make your reservations by May 15th to get the “Square Dancer rate”.
Campers please Note: There will be “NO” camping allowed at Bismarck High School as previously mentioned on our registration form.

CLOGGERS: Memo from Patty Vollan
1. NEW CLOGGING LOCATION: St. Mary’s Grade School gym located approximately six blocks South of Bismarck High School. Directions and registration packet will be available at the Registration desk located the Doublewood Inn from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Clogging starts at 8:00 PM Thursday evening. St. Mary’s Gym has A/C and tile floor.
2. TAP CHECK!! Please check your taps for any sharp edges (need to replace) and if nailed on for any loose nails. STEEL TAPS ONLY!!!
3. Video cameras are allowed, also limited number of music CD’s will be available – all clog cuers will receive a CD of the entire convention music.
4. SATURDAY MORNING: June 3 – All Cloggers are invited to perform outdoors at a National Guard Unit picnic. Bring music (2 songs on CD or cassette) for your group to perform. Dance surface will be several 4x8 hard fiber boards. Lunch will be on your own.
5. Both dance locations are very easy to find from any of the motels. We are looking forward to a fun time in Bismarck. CLOGGERS – PRE REGISTER!!!
